![]() ![]() I mean I've been kinda doing that, I've just been lacking the lens correction stuff, but most of the time I find it can be subtle changes anyway (I could not past a test easily on many of my shots if it had been applied etc, I would have to have taken a shot of a brick wall etc to really tell). 1 Posted by11 months ago Archived APPROACHING RAWTHERAPEE (4): Lens/Geometry Please note that the official Rawtherapee forum is on as said in the description of the subreddit community and mine is an UNOFFICIAL guide to use Rawtherapee. So in your situation Bruce, I’d apply the lens profile in RT and do the PS processing, then export as a TIFF (no data are lost) and continue the PP in Lr without wanting to apply more lens corrections, because you’ve already done that in RT.Thanks microlight. But the profile correction has been applied before I get to that stage. The latest versions of RawTherapee can apply corrections from Adobe Lens Correction Profile (.lcp) files, but where can these be found I've tried Adobe's Lens Profile Downloader, but it doesn't list all of the profiles available (I know because some of the profiles are in Lightroom, but not found by the Lens Profile Downloader). arw picture the geometry looks a bit different. With pixel shift, I develop in DCU5 and apply lens corrections first before exporting as TIFF, which I then import into Camera Raw - like Lr it won’t then apply camera profiles. My understanding is that DNG files themselves are not picture files but are effectively unprocessed data dumps from the sensor, which have to be interpreted as picture files by the raw developer software, and as such are the first part of the processing chain. ![]()
